Our focus for the 2026–2031 strategy includes:

• Policy Leadership: Leading the development of the WHO AFRO Regional Strategy for Podoconiosis to secure sovereign commitments and formalise elimination roadmaps.
• Stakeholder Mobilisation: Engaging influential champions across the health, business, and industry sectors to elevate podoconiosis as a global health priority.
• Empowering Lived Experience: Training and mobilising "Expert Patients" to ensure national and international advocacy is informed by those directly affected.

Target Outcomes for 2031

Our advocacy is directed toward measurable structural shifts, with core goals including:

• A regional podoconiosis elimination platform aligned with WHO AFRO, established 2026 ✓
• Securing official endorsement of this strategy by ten endemic nations.
• The recruitment of expert patient advocates to represent the cause at a global level.
