Two Recent Awards
Dr. Kebede Deribe was awarded the "Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene Emerging Leaders" award, to 'recognize significant contributions from low and middle-income country early-career investigators in leadership and service in tropical medicine and global health'. He'll receive the award in Cambridge in September.
In addition, Prof. Gail Davey, Footwork's founder, received the 2016 University of Sussex (UoS) Impact Award (Public Engagement) for 'Podoconiosis research: transforming patients' lives'. (Pictured below with Prof. Michael Farthing, Vice-Chancellor of UoS).
